Self Service Advising and Student Planning issue - monitoring, 16 May 2019 10:15am EDT

The application was updated this morning and it appears to be stable again. We'll keep monitoring it to be sure.

Unfortunately we have confirmed that is issue has returned this morning. Advisors and students using the advising and student planning applications on Self-Service may receive errors as they work within those application.

We believe the issue has been resolved. We'll continue to monitor the service over the next several hours to be sure. We thank you for your patience as we worked through the issue.

The issue has become more general. At this point the Self-Service application/site is completely inaccessible. Technology Services continues to work to find a solution.

The issue is impacting both the Advising and Student Planning applications in Self Service. Advisors and Students may see errors when accessing or using the applications.

The Advising application in Self-Service is often returning an error whenever an advisor chooses a student record within the application. IT Services is working with the vendor of the application to determine the root cause and fix.
