Tegrity Recorder may stop when a PowerPoint presentation is started - monitoring, 31 Jan 2019 4:21pm EST

For everyone using the Tegrity Recorder installed on their own PC or notebook computer:

If you use the Tegrity Recorder on your own PC or notebook computer (not a Campbell classroom/podium computer), please be aware that an issue was discovered that affects the most recent version of the Tegrity PC Recorder (build 7.5.3.2507) — when using PowerPoint, the Tegrity Recorder stops when going into presentation mode.

The Tegrity developers have identified the issue from the Dec 2018 build and are updating the code. There is a chance that your computer was automatically upgraded to this version. At this time there's no ETA on when the update will be released.

Actions:

Tegrity developers are reverting the PC Recorder to the previous version (build 7.5.3.2487).

If a computer has already been updated to the new PC Recorder build 2507, then the Recorder will need to be manually uninstalled. Build 2487 will reinstall when the user starts a new Tegrity recording.

This IT Services Solution contains an attachment for uninstalling the recorder.

We apologize for any inconvenience this issue is causing.

Thank you for your patience. Please contact us with any questions or concerns regarding this issue.
